MT990 with CR1000: Rotary Microtome with Cryo Attachment
Ideal tool for cryosectioning polymers, rubbers, and films for optical and FTIR transmission microscopy, as well as cryo-planing sample surfaces for AFM and SEM. Diamond and glass knives can be placed in the rotatable knife holder.
The CR1000 is equipped with independent temperature controls for the knife and specimen.
In conjunction with the CR1000, the MT990 becomes the world’s only cryo microtome for light microscopy, capable of preparing large areas of rubber, polymer, and biological samples.
